Change

Various changes by Rie (Grade 2)


 There have been a number of changes around me.
I don't see my meal after I eat it. I, then, understood things would have gone once I eat the.
Yesterday's school timetable, yesterday's life. All gone and nothing left.
A day is different from its previous day, and you do different things in each different minute.


About an Apple by Rui (Grade 7)

 An apple has a red color and gives me an impression of strong power. Perhaps, that is because the color of an apple reminds me of the fire going up in flames.
When I was still two or three years old, I couldn't eat apples as it was too hard for me So, my mother used to grate them for me. But now, I can eat them without her help.
I can enjoy so different kinds of taste by eating apples. It differs depending on recipe, such as, grated apple, an apple in a pie, or an apple itself. Perhaps this difference may come from the taste of an apple itself, though.


Change by Ryohei (Grade 4) On the first day of school, I found lots of changes in our classroom. For example, the notice that had been put up on the wall wasn't there, and the color of the wall in our English room had been changed from bluely green to yellow green. I was the only one who hadn't changed at all.


The great earthquake that hit Hanshin area by Atsutaka ( Grade 3) Until I saw it with my two eyes, I could not believe how awful it had been.
It could be worse than what I saw on the photo of aftermath of atomic bombing in Hiroshima.
I thought the power of nature is much stronger than that of man-made power.
The earthquake was a sign of anger from the nature as we have been bullying it such as by cutting too many trees.


Change by Hisayo (Grade 4) During the summer vacation, two years ago, I went on a trip to Okinawa by plane. The water of the sea there was as clear as crystal.
But, one year later, when I visited Okinawa again, I was so shocked to see the sea with very dirty water. I found a lot of rubbish like cans and plastic bags in the sea as well as on the beach. It was amazing that the sea in Okinawa had changed to be so messy.


The earthquake by Kotaro (Grade 4) I recalled the moon I saw two nights before the earthquake. The moon looked as large as the sun and devilish orange in color. Now I think that could have been a sign of the earthquake.
