Rain (by Masumi Grade 4)

Whenever I see raining, I always think of two imaginary pictures in my mind. One of them is rain in the park under a sunny sky. The other is rain under the cloudy sky on a back lane of the old Edo period. Rain is a nice thing that gives us great imaginations. And the sound of rain makes me really relaxed. Perhaps rain may have some kind of effect on us. I would love to be closer friends with rain.

The season of summer by Asako (Grade 2)

When summer has come, I get light-hearted. That's because the summer holiday, which is my favorite holiday, begins and the color of the attire the people wear get brighter. I also eat ice cream more often and we have swimming lessons started at school. And above all things we are allowed to run on the school yard with bare feet.

When I feel of spring by Asako (Grade 2)

When the world around us gets brighter, so does our attire, and that makes me cheerful. The trees with a lot of flowers are as if they took off winter clothes and put on bright-color ones, so spring is surely a good season as it seems to bring something nice to us.

Sir, do you know where Spring comes? Well, a writer writes in a book, "Spring comes from a railway track." It's interesting, isn't it? According to the book, someone put Spring on a cargo train to send it to his friend. But on its way, Spring fell onto a railway track and the seeds of Spring sprouted there.

Hosts of the night concert by Risa (Grade 5)

We can hear various chirp and chirr at night. Perhaps some crickets may be playing the violin, flute and trumpet, while others dancing to the tune. It give me a nice feeling when I hear that at night.

A scene on a rainy day by Masumi (Grade 3)

What can be seen from the sky on a sunny day is lots of heads of the people. But it is umbrellas that can be seen from the sky on a rainy day. Those umbrellas have different colors and look beautiful.
